Nicholas LeBlanc
From Military Service to Firearms Education
Raised on a farm in a hunting family, I developed a deep respect for firearms and a strong work ethic from an early age.
Over the past 16 years, I’ve built a career in the professional firearms and security industry as both a user and instructor, beginning with nine years as an Infantry Soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces. My military service strengthened those early foundations, providing extensive experience in leadership, tactical operations, and team management.
In the private sector, I served as Ontario Regional Training Manager and Lead Firearms & Use of Force Instructor for Ontario’s largest armored car company, where I certified armed professionals and maintained a flawless audit record with the Chief Firearms Officer of Ontario.
Today, as the owner of Perfect Practice Firearms Coaching Inc., I draw on my operational background and lifelong passion for firearms education to deliver clear, confidence-building training that emphasizes safety, precision, and practical skill development.
On The Range
On the range, I provide safe, hands-on training for all skill levels — from beginners learning the basics of marksmanship to experienced shooters refining their skills. I teach with pistols, holsters, shotguns, rifles, muzzleloaders, and all action types, using both dry fire and live fire drills. Whether working on fundamentals or more advanced techniques, I focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where families and individuals can build confidence and enjoy learning together.
In The Classroom
I make presentations engaging and interactive by combining clear communication with a passion for teaching. Instead of relying on slides alone, I use training aids, videos, and real-life examples to bring the material to life and help students connect theory with practical skills — keeping lessons dynamic, focused, and relevant.
