3. How to Enter - 2025 Christmas Draw

Preferred Entry Method (Purchase-Based Entries):

Primary Prize (Grand Prize) — entries earned by referrals from Smart Hats

  • Hat Referral (CFSC): When someone registers for the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) using your hat’s NFC unique discount code, you (the hat owner) get 1 entry into the Primary Prize draw.

  • Hat Referral (CRFSC): When someone registers for the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) using your hat’s NFC unique discount code, you (the hat owner) get 2 entries into the Primary Prize draw.

Secondary Prize — entries earned by owning or purchasing a hat

  • Legacy Hat Owners: All existing Perfect Practice Firearms Coaching hat owners are automatically entered into the Secondary Prize draw.

  • New Hat Purchases: Buy a Perfect Practice Firearms Coaching hat during the campaign window to receive 1 entry into the Secondary Prize draw.

Notes & tracking

  • Referral entries are credited when a qualifying CFSC/CRFSC registration is completed using your hat’s Discount Code within the campaign window.

  • If a referred registration is cancelled or refunded before the draw, the related entries are void.

  • Use of the embedded NFC “Tap Your Hat” link to access your hat’s unique discount code is required so we can attribute the referral to the correct hat owner.
